The Teacher
|
Over the years I have run a wide
range of courses in Holistic Therapies which have proved to be a great success. I am now offering short courses and
workshops from my home where we have built a little log cabin in our spacious
garden. I am also trained to work
with animals and run courses for pet lovers too! I offer courses at local venues
whenever there is sufficient demand.
All that is needed to put on a course is a minimum of 10 people
interested in any of the above subjects and a suitable venue. I am also able to provide short talks and
demonstrations to various organisations and groups. |
|
More detailed information on each of
the courses on offer is given below. If you have any further questions or would
like to reserve your place on one of these courses, please feel free to contact me.
An Introduction to Reflexology
|
|
Reflexology is a form of natural healing that dates back as
far as Egyptian times. The theory behind this gentle yet powerful therapy is that
the feet mirror all parts of the body. By applying pressure to specific
points on the feet, stress levels are lowered, circulation is improved, the
elimination of toxins is encouraged, balance and
harmony are restored to all body systems thereby stimulating nature's healing
process. |
This 8-week course enables students to learn
·
A brief history of Zone Therapy and Reflexology
·
How reflex points on the feet relate to the various
muscles, nerves, organs and glands of the body
·
Techniques involved in giving a full Reflexology
treatment

The main body systems and their functions (basic anatomy
and physiology)
·
Some of the more common ailments where Reflexology may be
helpful
