The remedies are suitable for all animals even goldfish!  It is not always easy to know which is the best remedy to give when you are unable to interpret an animal’s behaviour accurately.  However it is usually possible with a little research and delving to find out sufficient information to select an appropriate remedy for your pet.   If for whatever reason the incorrect remedy or remedies are administered there is no danger or risk to the animal.  The remedy just won’t have the desired effect!  It may be necessary to select an alternative remedy and see if that brings a better result.

Rescue remedy can be helpful if you are not sure which remedy to give.  This is a composite of 5 other remedies and can be effective in calming an animal who is suffering with any kind of stress or fear.

Always bear in mind that there is an amount of brandy in the remedies which is used as a preservative to keep remedies fresh.  For this reason, it is always wise to dilute the drops from the Bach stock bottle with some spring water.  Some animals dislike the taste of brandy and in the case of very small animals it is likely to be a little overpowering.  The best way of using the remedies is to make up a treatment bottle.  For further information please contact me and request a leaflet on using Bach Remedies with Animals.

Sometimes people who have a good bond with their pets will instinctively know if their animal companions are “off colour” and this can be helpful.   It is important however to avoid putting our own human interpretation onto an animal’s behaviour as this is likely to lead us to the incorrect selection of remedies.

BABY TORTOISES  Just look at these cute little baby tortoises that my clever friend Lou managed to breed.  Aren’t they amazing?  The salad looks pretty good too!
