Reiki is a natural therapy that is becoming
increasingly popular and it can be used to treat humans and animals alike. It
has been found to be very effective in the treatment of pets with physical or
behavioural problems. Animals,
who do not have the human tendency to be skeptical, often respond extremely well
to the natural healing energy that flows during a Reiki treatment and,
because animals tend to be so naturally open, treatments can be simple, quick
and easy to administer. In
the case of wild animals or fearful animals who
dislike being approached or touched, Reiki may be administered remotely. Click here for the Science of Reiki. |

WHAT IS ENERGY? The entire
Universe is composed of energy. Every
living being is flowing energy all of the time. Problems occur when the energy is out of
balance or becomes “stuck” or fails to flow.
This can result if physical and emotional or behavoiural problems. WHICH ONE IS
BEST? There are many energy healing disciplines, Reiki is just one of them. It would appear that the energy comes from
the same source no matter what label we may give to healing. This source of energy is in endless supply
and the healer finds a way of harnessing this energy and helping it to flow
more freely. It has been shown that the
good intentions, focus and dedication of the healer play a huge part in
achieving positive outcomes. Healing
energy is available to us all, not just a chosen few! Touch, in itself, can be incredibly healing
but the way we touch is the key. Being is more important than doing. In other words how you behave around and
feel about animals is the key. OTHER SCIENTIFIC
EVIDENCE There is a great deal
of evidence to show that healing can be highly effective. Studies have shown that healing can: ·
Speed up enzyme reactions and encourage healthy
cells ·
Increase haemoglobin levels in the blood thereby
strenghening the body’s immunity to disease and infection. ·
Increase the rate of healing when given pre or
post operatively. ·
Encourage/induce a deep meditative state of
relaxation and inner peace which enables healing to take place naturally. A NOTE ON THE PLACEBO EFFECT This is where the patient believes so completely in
the medicine or therapy that they naturally, and often without realising it, activate
their body’s innate healing power. Even
when the medicine given is simply a sugar pill, clear water, or the words of a
therapist uttered with great conviction, as long as the patient believes in
the therapy, the results can often be miraculous. The placebo effect undoubtedly takes place
in humans whether the medicine is orthodox or holistic. In animals, however,
it seems highly unlikely that this would be the case. In domesticated animals it could be argued
that the animal is so in tune with its carer, that if the carer believes in
the medicine given to the animal, then the animal picks up on this thought
vibrationally. However, entire herds
of cattle have responded favourably to homeopathic treatments placed in their
water trough. In this case it seems
highly unlikely that the results could be attributed to the placebo effect. However, there are many mysteries in our
Universe and so it’s best not to be too sure about anything! The important thing is that healing often works
where all other treatments have failed. SHORT COURSES ON ENERGY HEALING FOR ANIMALS COMING SOON! Contact
