My background is in teaching and for the past 20 years I have
studied holistic and natural therapies.
I have a special interest in the mindbody connection and I hold the
belief that true healing takes place on many levels. In more recent years I have delved into
the realm of energy therapies
– a fascinating and amazing subject! |

|
I have a private practice offering Reflexology, Head Massage, Reiki
and Bach Flower Remedies and in addition I offer a variety of short courses
and workshops on holistic therapies.

ANIMAL WORK I am now extending my practice to include animal treatment
which will be aimed specifically at resolving behavioural problems. I have always had an empathy and love for
animals, dogs in particular, and since I had my first dog Toby 18 years ago,
my interest in dog behaviour has steadily grown. My desire to work with and help animals has
also become stronger and, in 2004, I gained a certificate in Dog Psychology
from the Canine Behaviour Centre. Having been a human Bach Flower Remedies
Practitioner for several years I decided to embark on the Animal Practitioner
course at the Natural Animal Centre in Carmarthenshire in 2004 and graduated
in 2005. I am now one of a very small number
of registered Bach Animal Practitioners!
The combination of the flower remedies coupled with the use gentle
behaviour modification techniques can be a very effective one. WHAT WILL I BE ABLE TO OFFER YOU
AND YOUR ANIMAL COMPANION? Through discussion with you and observation of your canine
companion I will be aiming to uncover the emotions and other contributory
factors that are motivating the problem behaviour. Clear and concise advice will be given and
a behaviour modification program will be devised for you to implement. Progress will monitored over a period of
time and modified if necessary. You
will receive a report on my findings. BACH FLOWER REMEDIES If you have opted to include Bach Flower Remedies
in the treatment program for your dog, then a treatment bottle will be made
up for you to administer over a period of 2-3 weeks. If you are finding the problem behaviour
extremely stressful and feeling unable to cope, you may like to consider
taking some flower remedies too, as they can help you through this difficult
time. Your negative feelings will most
likely have an effect on your companion and vice versa so treating you both
with the remedies makes perfect sense. For more information on the Bach Flower
Remedies please click here. |
